Appearance (HS): Toivo has darker skin (think Native American or Hispanic skin tones) and dark brown hair that's cut pretty short in high school au. He has green eyes and an upturned nose, and when he actually smiles, it lights up his whole face. He's got glasses, which are definitely part of the box of generic glasses that you can get free lenses of through state health insurance. He's tall. At 16 he hasn't quite hit the full force of his growth spurt, but he's still almost 6 feet tall. Coupled with that, he's skinny and has a hard time keeping on body fat. He's constantly eating snacks and has some sort of food in his backpack. He usually stands a little slouched over, like he's trying to hide himself. His clothes are almost all hand-me-downs and they're not very fitted to his body, but they are at least long enough for his limbs.
Strengths/Weaknesses: On the plus side, he's smart, friendly, and dedicated to seeing things through. On the negative side, he's self-conscious, worried about everything, uncoordinated, over-emotional, sensitive, can't make friends easily, and easily manipulated.
